Comedian Kate Quigley told her fans early Thursday that she is still “healing physically & mentally” from her near-deadly drug overdose — and left in tears at all the messages of love and support.
“Hi love bugs. – Ive stayed off my phone a couple days & prolly will for a while,” the 39-year-old stand-up said in an early hours tweet, her first since overdosing on cocaine laced with fentanyl at an L.A. house party last Friday.
“I’m still healing physically & mentally,” she wrote.
“But reading all the positive messages from u guys is makin me cry tnight. Thank u. So grateful for the support & love. U have no idea how much it’s helping,” she said.
The comedian’s message was shared with a photo of a quote seemingly addressing her future plans after her overdose from a batch of fentanyl-laced cocaine being blamed for three deaths, including comedy writer Fuquan Johnson.
