Kaptur faces challenge for vulnerable seat from Air Force veteran


Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), who narrowly won reelection in 2024 by less than 1%, is being challenged by Alea Nadeem, an Air Force veteran running on the Republican ticket. 

Nadeem posted her campaign announcement video on X Thursday, railing against Kaptur for being “a career politician” who is “out of touch” with the needs and concerns of Northwest Ohioans.
