Kamala Harris Proposes to 'Modernize' School Day by Extending Hours to 6 p.m.


Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is proposing to extend existing school days to 6 p.m. in order to better match up with the average adult’s workweek, Mother Jones reports.

Harris is reportedly unveiling a bill on Wednesday that would, as Mother Jones describes, “modernize” school hours by extending them to better coincide with the average working hours of adults.
