Former NFL quarterback and current anti-police activist Colin Kaepernick is demanding the release of a convicted cop killer and former Black Panther.

The former San Francisco 49ers star, who kicked off his career as a high-profile leftist activist by refusing to stand for the national anthem during games in 2016, is calling for the release of a man who has been in prison since 1982.

The Philadelphia Tribune reported Kaepernick cut a video for a Black Lives Matter Philly campaign to release Mumia Abu-Jamal from prison.
