House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) assessed how President-elect Donald Trump’s second presidency will be drastically different from his first one, as Republican lawmakers are working as the wind in his sails rather than working against him.
Jordan described how every Republican is “behind the president” going into Trump’s second term when compared to how some in-party members were opposed to him, in addition to most Democratic lawmakers, in 2021. The change is also evident with the public, Jordan argued, as one can “feel the optimism” that the nation feels ahead of Trump’s inauguration.
