Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio just announced that Republicans plan to subpoena the “whistleblower” to testify in a public hearing regarding the impeachment inquiry launched by House Dems against President Trump.
Despite Republicans’ intention to subpoena the so-called “whistleblower,” it is anticipated that Democrats will likely attempt to subvert the subpoena and veto the action.
Jordan’s statement about subpoenaing the so-far anonymous whistleblower comes amid fierce debate between Republicans and Dems (Romney included here) about whether the identity of the whistleblower should be unmasked or allowed to remain hidden from the public.
