Rapper Jay-Z and his wife, recording artist Beyoncé, just purchased a $200 million mansion in Malibu.
The sale set the record as the most expensive home ever sold in California and the second most expensive real estate deal in the country, according to a TMZ report. The property was initially listed at $295 million. The publication noted that the couple is believed to have paid in cash.
Their new place is a 40,000-square-foot estate on eight acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It’s located in the exclusive Paradise Cove area and was designed by famed Japanese architect Tadao Ando, per Yahoo.
