
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) on Wednesday sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi alleging that President Donald Trump took highly sensitive classified documents aboard his private plane and showed them off to passengers.
Raskin, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, said the claims stem from newly disclosed Justice Department records tied to the federal investigation into Trump’s mishandling of classified materials, which was later dropped when Trump returned to office.

According to the letter, prosecutors identified a June 2022 incident in which Trump was allegedly “showing off a classified map to passengers” on his private aircraft while traveling to his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club. The memo also referenced other highly sensitive documents from Trump’s presidency, including material that was accessible to only a small number of U.S. officials.
