Earlier this week, a bipartisan coalition of Senators cobbled together a civilian disarmament deal. Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell approved this proposal, a move that makes the passage of this anti-Second Amendment package much more likely.
However, Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance is against this proposal.
“From what I’ve seen of this bill, I would not support it,” Vance said on June 15, 2022 on a Breitbart radio show with Robert Kraychik. “I think the red flag laws, in particular, they certainly are a slippery slope. They also don’t solve the problem of gun violence.”
