Iran Reportedly Shoots Down U.S. Fighter Jet, Fate Of Crew Unclear


Multiple outlets report that Iran shot down a U.S. fighter jet over the country.

According to The New York Times, U.S. officials and Iranian state-affiliated media said the jet had been shot down.

“The fate of the plane’s crew was unclear, as American officials scrambled to mount a search and rescue operation before Iran could get to any survivors, officials said,” the outlet wrote.
