Actress Amber Heard lashed out at her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp, over his attorneys’ claim that she had given “the performance of a lifetime” during their recent defamation trial, arguing that he had been the one who “convinced the world he had scissors for fingers.”
Heard spoke to NBC’s Savannah Guthrie in her first post-trial interview — which aired Tuesday — and she continued to claim that Depp had lied and that she had been the victim of an exceptionally “abusive” and “toxic” dynamic throughout their relationship.
Guthrie: Depp’s attorneys said you gave “the performance of a lifetime” in court.
Heard: “Says the lawyer for the man who convinced the world he had scissors for fingers … I’m the performer?” pic.twitter.com/mfF9PXj0Q9
