Tensions flared during Vice President Kamala Harris’s Thursday night interview with Ilia Calderon when the Univision anchor pressed the vice president on her not-yet-scheduled trip to the U.S.-Mexico border.
Calderon opened the terse exchange by asking Harris when she will visit the border, as she promised this week under criticism during an uneven trip to Guatemala and Mexico.
The vice president began her answer by noting she’s “said I’m going to the border,” before Calderon interrupted her and reiterated her question.
