Idaho Sheriff On Shooter Standoff: “If You Have a Clear Shot, Take It!”


The search is still underway for the shooter (or possibly multiple shooters) responsible for shooting and killing two firefighters who were responding to a brush fire in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho this evening.

Kootenai County Sheriff Robert Norris has just given the green light to both law enforcement and civilians: if anyone sees the shooter and has a clear shot, take them out!

He says that there are no signs that the assailants have any intention of surrendering.
