Hunter Biden claimed in a new interview Monday that he has never given his father money from any of his business ventures “directly or indirectly.”
The first son, and oldest living child of President Biden, made the claim to “CBS This Morning” anchor Anthony Mason after being asked directly if he had ever paid his father — amid scrutiny about his own business dealings.
“No, no nothing,” the younger Biden, 51, adamantly told the network.
Pressed further, Biden said he had not paid his father ever.
“Not a nickel, directly or indirectly,” he said, “Not a nickel, ever, 100 percent, no, never.”
Biden conducted the interview in a rare media appearance while promoting his new memoir, “Beautiful Things,” out Tuesday, April 6 from Gallery Books.
