GoFundMe on Friday launched a centralized scroll of verified fundraisers from throughout Texas, ranging from pitches for regional efforts to those on behalf of individual families in need.
GoFundMe pitches include a new effort on behalf of the family of Cristian Peneda, an 11 year-old boy found dead in his bed on Monday.
The American Red Cross is spearheading disaster relief efforts throughout Texas, and has a page that lets donors direct their cash by region and even find a Texas blood drive site.
The Salvation Army also allows donations to be pinpointed to a specific city or state.
