At least 15 COVID-19 patients were killed in India when a hospital fire broke out Saturday, amid a devastating second wave of infections ravaging the country.
Dozens of other patients at the Welfare Hospital in Bharuch were rescued, police said.

The flames broke out in the COVID-19 ward, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation, according to officials.
The tragedy comes a week after 13 COVID-19 patients died when an intensive care unit outside Mumbai caught fire.
On Friday, the State Department implemented travel restrictions to India over the surging coronavirus cases there.
