A holocaust memorial in Oregon was marred with anti-Semitic graffiti, police and parks officials said.
Cops in Portland found swastikas and other Nazi-related hate symbols spray-painted onto the Oregon Holocaust Memorial in Washington Park early Sunday, police said.
“As officers investigated, they found similar graffiti on street signs and concrete barriers in the neighborhood,” department officials said in a statement.
Maintenance crews later removed the graffiti, which also included the numbers “1488,” Portland Parks & Recreation spokesman Mark Ross told The Post.
The four-digit number is a combination of two popular white supremacist numeric symbols, according to the Anti-Defamation League.
The first two numbers refer to the so-called “14 Words” slogan popular with some white supremacists, according to the ADL’s website.
“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children,” the slogan asserts.
The second half of the number plays off the eighth letter of the alphabet – H – and stands for “Heil
