Last year, the Republicans defeated the Democrats 31-11, bringing their total number of wins to 46. The GOP is on a four-year winning streak.

Over the years, the event’s popularity evolved into its own foundation, “Congressional Sports for Charity.” The foundation provides support to charities in the Washington DC area and scholarships for local youth.
The foundation supports the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, the Washington Nationals Philanthropies, and the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund.
