Here Are The Two Republicans Who Voted Against President Trump’s Spending Bill


The U.S. House passed a spending bill backed by President Trump that will lead to massive tax and government spending cuts.

The spending bill passed 216-214, with both sides voting along party lines, except two Republicans voting no and siding with Democrats.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky) and Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-Ind) voted no.

After voting no, Massie went on X and wrote,”If you were trying to hasten financial collapse of our country and bribe voters to go along with it, the strategy wouldn’t look much different than what Congress is doing today.”

He added, “The big beautiful bill cuts taxes while keeping spending on an increasingly unsustainable trajectory.”
