A disgruntled customer torched a Spanish café after he was refused mayo, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage — which mayonnaise brand Hellmann’s has offered to cover after learning of the shocking arson.

The peculiar attack took place on Aug. 21st at Cafeteria Las Postas in Sevilla when a man asked workers “for a couple of packets of mayonnaise for his sandwich,” and was told they didn’t have any, the café shared on Instagram.

The mayo-less man then stormed off and returned to the café minutes later with gasoline from a nearby station, dousing the counter with it and setting it ablaze, according to the post.
