Hair-raising video shows Virginia cop save officer’s life from oncoming car


A quick-thinking Virginia cop saved a fellow officer from a careening car that crashed into a police vehicle — pulling her to safety just seconds before impact, intense video shows.

The 13-second clip released Wednesday by Gate City police shows Officer Matthew Stewart reacting with superhero-like reflexes to pull Officer Jessica McGraw away from the white car that slammed into a police SUV Sunday on Highway 23.

Stewart was talking with McGraw on the side of the roadway about a driver’s license status when the white vehicle traveling in the other direction lost control and crossed the median, slamming into McGraw’s police SUV, video shows.
