GOP nomination should ‘play out’ so party can ‘come together’: Brian Kemp


Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) encouraged Republicans to allow the election process to “play out” for the GOP presidential nominee in order to prevent further division within the party.

While appearing on This Week, Kemp made his suggestion in response to being asked about some people within the Republican Party asking 2024 presidential candidate Nikki Haley to suspend her campaign. The calls for Haley to drop out come after she lost to former President Donald Trump in both the New Hampshire primary, the Iowa caucuses, and the Virgin Islands caucuses, along with losing to the “none of these candidates” label in the Nevada primary.
