Four people injured in synagogue attack in the UK


A synagogue was attacked on Thursday in Manchester, England, after a man drove a car into a crowd of people and stabbed a man.

Police responded after a security guard was reportedly attacked with a knife outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, according to reports. Greater Manchester Police categorized the incident as a “marauding terror attack.”

The attack occurred on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Four people were injured in the attack, according to multiple reports. The suspect was shot by local police officers.
