After last month’s decision by Major League Baseball to move their annual All-Star game out of Atlanta, GA in reaction to the state’s new election laws, the conversation surrounding sports leagues and their involvement in politics has reached a fever pitch.
Aubrey Huff, a 13-year MLB veteran and two-time World Series champion, told The Daily Wire that “players were blindsided” and that “This had nothing to do with race. This had nothing to do with politics. This had everything to do with money.”
MLB’s decision to bow down to the woke mob was a reminder to conservatives that not only do their beliefs fall on deaf ears, they are dismissed entirely. Sports organizations making decisions based on which way the political winds are blowing at the time, have driven conservatives away from the games.
Jake Bequette, former New England Patriots tight end and United States Army veteran, went a step further than Huff and voiced his displeasure on the decision in an
