Former Oath Keeper Ray Epps Charged With One Misdemeanor In Connection To J6 Capitol Breach


Former Oath Keepers chapter leader Ray Epps, who was caught on video urging people to go into the U.S. Capitol on January 6, has been charged with disorderly or disruptive conduct in connection with the breach, according to the Associated Press.

Department of Justice authorities charged Epps with one misdemeanor count, disorderly or disruptive conduct on restricted grounds.

According to court filings, Epps “did knowingly, and with intent to impede and disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business and official functions, engage in disorderly and disruptive conduct in and within such proximity to, a restricted building and grounds — that is, any posted, cordoned-off, and otherwise restricted area within the United States Capitol and its grounds, where the Vice President was and would be temporarily visiting—when and
