Former Marine Daniel Penny Honored with Prestigious Award

In a ceremony held in Boston, former Marine Daniel Penny received the Semper Fidelis Achievement Award.

This honor comes after Penny’s acquittal on charges related to the 2023 subway incident involving Jordan Neely.

The event commemorated the historic Battle of Iwo Jima and recognized Penny’s service and sacrifice.

Penny’s defense attorneys, Thomas Kenniff and Steve Raiser, were also acknowledged.

The Marine Corps League emphasized that the award is reserved for “worthy and inspirational recipients,” and that definitely applies to Penny!

It’s great to see heroes honored once again!

What a change of pace from the previous administration that praised criminals and jailed heroes.
