Former House Speaker Gingrich Says He’s Found A ‘Very Encouraging’ Sign For Conservatives


Known for leading Republicans during a particularly robust GOP wave in the mid-’90s, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) recently identified what he believes could usher in a new era of conservative dominance on Capitol Hill.

He appeared on the Fox Business Network following the passage of a continuing resolution to fund the government, which was backed by President Donald Trump.

“The new majority leader, John Thune, has worked very closely with Speaker Johnson and President Trump. And it was the team of the three of them that just got this particular continuing resolution through,” Gingrich said.
