A Florida couple has been found dead miles from each other after disappearing shortly before New Year’s Eve, authorities said Wednesday.
Tiffany Church, 35, and her boyfriend, Trodarius Rainey, 26, were reported missing on Dec. 31 after their rented car was found with at least one bullet hole in a parking garage in Sanford, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Seminole County Sheriff’s Office at the time said their disappearance was “suspicious” and the couple was believed to be in danger.
Rainey’s body was discovered by a man walking his dog Saturday in Lake Jesup Park, the outlet reported.
Then on Tuesday, his girlfriend’s remains were found around five miles away near railroad tracks in the Wynwood neighborhood of Sanford, the outlet reported.
Both of them had suffered gunshot wounds in what authorities are investigating as a double homicide.
