A 29-year-old Spirit Airline passenger was hit with a felony assault charge for allegedly attacking another woman whose children kicked the back of her seat, according to reports.
Daydrena Jaslin Walker-Williams is accused of punching Nataly Hernandez several times, leaving her with a bleeding lip and lumps on her head, after the plane landed Sunday at Portland International Airport, The Oregonian reported.
She admitted that she hit Hernandez “2 to 3 times in the face with her fist,” according to a complaint.
Walker-Williams told police “she was upset Ms. Hernandez’s children kicked the back of her seat, and stated she told Ms. Hernandez ‘to tell her kids to stop it.’”
She said Hernandez – whose two children, 7 and 3 years old, reportedly witnessed the assault — ignored her and later “hit her on the shoulder,” according to the probable-cause affidavit cited by the news outlet.
