The first GOP debate for the primary presidential race will take place sometime this August in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
At the present time, three people have announced their intent to seek the Republican nomination, including President Donald J. Trump, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy.
As reported by TMJ4, citing a report by the New York Times, “The RNC debates committee decided on Thursday that all presidential candidates must sign a loyalty pledge promising to support the eventual nominee – or not participate in the debates.” According to the Washington Times, Trump has not committed to signing the loyalty pledge.

Other Republicans are also expected to seek the nomination, including but not limited to Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, former Vice President Mike Pence, and former Secretary
