Feds bust three in Portland protests, 11 charged by city police

Three Portland protestors were hit with federal charges this week — and nearly a dozen others were busted by cops in the Oregon city last night — as the more than 100 days of protests there continued, according to reports.

The FBI said a trio of protesters were charged with civil disorder — two for hitting cops and the third for shining a laser in the faces of several police officers, the Epoch Times reported.

William Grant Reuland, 24, was part of a crowd of protesters outside the Justice Center on June 13 when he allegedly “hit Officer 1 and four other officers in the face with lasers,” according to an FBI affidavit.

“Officer 1 was able to move to a lower floor and use a camera to take photographs of Reuland,” the affidavit said. “While taking the photographs, Officer 1 again witnessed Reuland and the other individual pointing green lasers toward the other officers on the roof.”
