The goal is to secure review of the Second Circuit’s decision in NSSF v. James from the Supreme Court of the United States. The case centers on New York’s public nuisance law, which the Second Circuit allowed to stand in a ruling last year even though the NSSF argued the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) preempts it.
