A convicted killer who’s been on the run since early December was recently spotted south of the border in Tijuana, where he was allegedly involved in a shootout that left a top Mexican cop dead.
César Moisés Hernández, who was convicted of a 2019 murder in Los Angeles, hadn’t been seen since Dec. 4, 2024, when he fled a prison van transporting him to a hearing at Kern County Superior Court in Delano.
But on Wednesday, the 34-year-old turned up again in Tijuana, where an elite team of police officers had tracked him to.
