Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the GOP will support Donald Trump as the party’s nominee even if he’s “convicted of a crime.”

“Whoever the voters choose is the appropriate nominee,” McDaniel replied.
