DOGE under investigation by OPM inspector general for access to email data system


The investigation came as DOGE gained access to OPM systems and created the [email protected] email address, which it used to email federal workers a directive to send a list of five accomplishments to recap their week.

OPM acting Inspector General Norbert Vint sent a letter on Friday to Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee to share that the office is “assess[ing] risks associated with new and modified information systems at OPM.”
