DOGE Temporarily Prohibited From Accessing Social Security Data, Judge Rules


A federal judge on Thursday temporarily blocked the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing data systems at the Social Security Administration.

According to the Associated Press, U.S. District Judge Ellen Hollander called the work by DOGE a “fishing expedition.”

“The order also requires the team to delete any personally identifiable data in their possession,” the outlet stated.
