Presumptive President-elect Joe Biden tempted voters in Georgia with the promise of a third coronavirus stimulus check if the Democratic Senate candidates won Tuesday’s runoff elections.
Biden made the vow Monday at an Atlanta rally for Democrats Jon Ossoff and the Rev. Raphael Warnock, who were facing incumbent GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.

“If you send Jon and the reverend to Washington, those $2,000 checks will go out the door,” Biden said, according to Fox Business. “And if you send Sens. Perdue and Loeffler back to Washington, those checks will never get there. It’s just that simple. The power is literally in your hands.”
