Democrat Secretary Of State Expects Delayed Election Results

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, said the state’s full unofficial election results should be available at the end of the day AFTER the election.

“I would estimate end of the day on Wednesday as the best guess on how we’ll perform,” Benson said.

“With that said, we will always prioritize accuracy and security over efficiency,” she added.
