DC Officer’s Death NOT Related To Unrest At Capitol, Related To Medical Condition

So far, four protesters were killed in the unrest at the capitol on Wednesday.  However, the National Pulse is reporting that a fifth–Washington DC police officer, Brian Sicknick–died due to complications related to a medical condition.  It was not motivated by the politics of the day.

Officer Sicknick’s family asked that his death not be made into a political issue.  He was 42 years old and a military veteran.

“According to sources familiar with the matter, authorities believe Sicknick’s death was driven by a medical condition. They’re also investigating reports that he was attacked with a fire extinguisher or another item at the Capitol, sources said. So far, reports of an attack haven’t been confirmed and authorities are hoping to locate video or other imagery from the scene.

The family’s statement echoed a similar sentiment:
