A major produce supplier recalled cucumbers in 26 states after the FDA warned the company that there could be a link between the produce and salmonella infections.
SunFed Produce, based in Arizona, announced on Thanksgiving day that it would recall “all sizes of whole fresh American cucumbers packaged in bulk cardboard containers.”
The possible contaminated produce was also packaged in generic white and black boxes with a sticker that reads “Agrotato, S.A. de C.V.””
The FDA stated, “Anyone with the recalled product in their possession should not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products.”
