Three children who lost their mother in a New York nursing home at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic last year want “justice” for their loved one and say Gov. Andrew Cuomo needs to be investigated for trying to cover up the number of senior deaths linked to the facilities.
“You pat yourself on the back and tell everyone how good you’re doing, at the same time you’re lying about the lives that are being lost,” Ted Minissale, whose 93-year-old mom Agnes Minissale died in a nursing home, said on Fox & Friends Monday morning.
“It’s just terrible, absolutely terrible.”
The heartbroken adult children said prior to the lockdown, they would see their mother almost every night — they’d eat dinner with her, walk her to the nearby chapel and bring her to bed, they said on the show.
Daughter Cindy Lizzi said not being able to see her mom before she died was “devastating.”
