Councilmember Who Worked For Turning Point USA Accused Of S*xual Harassment And Kidnapping In Lawsuit, Responds To Allegations


An Arizona councilmember who worked for Turning Point USA faces allegations in a lawsuit that she propositioned a man for sex and briefly kidnapped his 14-year-old daughter when he declined.

Avondale City Councilmember Jeannette Garcia is accused of “making remarks, inviting and suggesting” having sex with the man and offering him employment with Turning Point USA if he agreed to it, AZ Family reports.

The father and daughter filed the lawsuit anonymously under the aliases Father John Doe and Minor Jane Doe.

According to AZ Family, John Doe is believed to have worked for Garcia’s team at Turning Point USA and coworkers went out to dinner to celebrate the elections last November.

Garcia has called the accusations “outrageous and false.”
