‘Could Not Last A Week In Texas’: Abbott Fires Back After Adams Calls Him ‘Madman’


After New York City mayor Eric Adams lashed out at Texas GOP governor Greg Abbott, calling him a “madman,” Abbott fired back, declaring that Adams “could not last a week in Texas.”

Last week Adams, complaining about the influx of illegal immigrants into New York City, told a townhall, “Go item for item on what Eric Adams ran for as a candidate and look at what we accomplished in 20 months: We turned this city around in 20 months, and then what happened? Started with a madman down in Texas who decided he wanted to bus people up to New York City.”
