Convicted killer Erik Menendez is truly in a “high” security prison.
The 49-year-old jailbird was sent to an isolation unit Monday after officials at the California prison intercepted a package of pot mailed to him, according to a report.
Menendez — who slaughtered his millionaire parents in their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989 — was sent the special delivery while doing time at the R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, TMZ reported.
But the plan went to pot when prison workers discovered the weed, prompting officials to launch an investigation into whether Menendez was in on it, according to the outlet.
