National Public Radio tweeted a photo of a large truck promoting how to get “Abortion pills. Delivered to your door.” The trucks are ‘mobile billboards’ which are visiting college campuses in 14 states; states specifically with abortion bans.
The mobile billboards even contain a QR code for students to scan with their smart phones and have immediate access to information and direction on how to get the pills.
The nonprofit group Mayday.Health is behind the campaign. “We do not pretend that they are perfect,” said Dr. Jennifer Lincoln, executive director and president of Mayday. “We wish that everybody could just get these medications as easily as you can get Tylenol or Viagra in this country. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
