California college professor berates student for calling police ‘heroes’

A professor at Cypress College in California repeatedly berated a student during a Zoom lesson after he referred to police as “heroes.”

Braden Ellis, a 19-year-old business major at the college near Anaheim, was delivering a presentation on cancel culture and spoke about how television shows like “Cops,” “Live PD” and “Paw Patrol” had come under fire from anti-police activists.

That’s when things started to escalate, Fox News reported.

“A lot of police officers have committed an atrocious crime and have gotten away with it and have never been convicted of any of it,” says the unnamed educator.
