BREAKING: Fatalities Confirmed After Medical Helicopter Crashes


Authorities confirmed fatalities after a medical helicopter crashed in Mississippi.

According to The Clarion-Ledger, the “helicopter crashed Monday afternoon near the Natchez Trace.”

“A Madison County spokesperson confirmed that first responders were called to a helicopter crash around 12:30 p.m. near Mississippi 43 and the Natchez Trace Parkway,” the outlet wrote.

The sheriff’s office said a medical helicopter went down in a wooded area south of the Natchez Trace and North of Pipeline Road.

Officials said there were fatalities. It is unclear how many people were killed at this time. Authorities are waiting for the arrival of the Federal Aviation Authority.
