Boy, 6, fatally drops premature infant on head while ‘roaming’ neonatal unit of French hospital: report

A 6-year-old boy, left by his mother to roam a French children’s hospital, grabbed and dropped a premature baby girl, killing her, according to reports.

The days-old baby, born two-months premature, was declared brain dead Tuesday at Jeanne-de-Flandre Children’s Hospital in Lille after the “disruptive” child snatched her by the diaper and pulled her onto the floor of the neonatal unit where she fatally slammed her head, according to local La Voix Du Nord.

Family of the tragic infant said the boy previously entered their room and said the girl “looked like a doll,” the report said.
