One high school campus in Southern California invited U.S. Border Patrol recruiter to join the student career fair.
Then they changed their mind and refused to let the recruiter on campus.
After some backlash, a California school district reaffirmed its support for Border Patrol reps.
They also said they’re welcome at future events.
But isn’t the event over?
They should be welcomed back and be allowed to do a special presentation for the whole school in the gymnasium.
Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino called out the controversy online with a pointed “Agendas in Schools?”
He later thanked the district for clearing the air.
