New York City Police Department officials will meet with Attorney General Pam Bondi on Monday afternoon for what an NYPD spokesperson called a “standard meet and greet” in Manhattan.
Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch and members of the NYPD executive team are slated to meet with Bondi after 4 p.m. in 1 Police Plaza, the department’s headquarters in southern Manhattan. Mayor Eric Adams will not be in attendance.
Monday’s meeting comes amid President Donald Trump’s floated threats of sending in federal law enforcement to New York and after an executive order signing Monday morning in which he took aim at cashless bail. The White House referenced several repeat offenders released on cashless bail in New York in a White House-published article on the executive order.
